Leopard or Animal Prints – A Fashion Must-Have or a Fashion Mistake?
Leopard or Animal Prints – A Fashion Must-Have or a Fashion Mistake?
Since the downturn in recent years in furs, there seems to be a rise in animal prints.
The most popular are leopard or tiger print blouses or skirts. Zebra prints are also great for adding a touch of flair
Animal prints might be okay if you are going on safari and want to get in touch with your animal totem, but if you are going to wear animal prints there are some strict rules!

Leopard or Animal Prints – Stick with Shoes
Pair with Black or Dark Colors
If you are dying to wear those leopard print shoes or skirt, match it with dark colors. This will mean you will be able to create a blank canvas, as it were, on which your leopard print will really shine.
It is a mistake to use a blend of colors also.
Black or dark blue would look great, but don’t throw white or red into the mix.
Use Minimally
One of the worst things any woman can do is wear an entire outfit based on animal prints.
This will be too glary and confusing to anyone looking at you.
Animal prints are vivid, fast and evoke an animalistic energy. This is great in small amounts, but disastrous as an entire outfit.
In truth, you are best keeping your animal prints to your pants, skirts or shoes.
On top are simply too busy and distracting, and while they do add drama, glamour and sex appeal, rein in your urges to go completely safari and use the exciting patterns to add a touch of allure.
