The flat sole, slim-lined skater kicks might not be coming back in 2018.

Popular with stars, and of course skaters, skater kicks came in a dependable range of colors. Some were adorned with brand names and logos, however, the design can be best characterized by their low flat design, functional for riding a skateboard.

It seems that the new sneaker style for 2018 just might be those old favorites, the ‘dad shoe.’

Now, you may be cringing wondering how they are going to look with your slim leg jeans or tracks, but they are gaining in popularity.

Recently, models such as Bella Hadid and Kaia Gerber have been seen sporting them (excuse the pun), which has led fashion watchers to think they must might be making a comeback.

As well, Triple S trainers, Prada and Reebok have been toying with bringing out their own designs of these bulkier styled runner.
