3 Ways You How Can You Test the Quality of a Cashmere Sweater
Cashmere is a wonderful, natural material that is warm and soft.
Wearing it is like being hugged from your very best friend all day long.
However, there are mixes and blends available on the market, which are diluting the quality of real cashmere.
If you have always wanted to spoil yourself with a genuine 100% cashmere sweater than here are 3 ways you can test its quality.
1. Check the Gauge
Rub the fabric in between your index finger and your thumb. If the fabric feels thin then there is less cashmere in it. On the other hand, if it feels thick than the cashmere mix is higher and the sweater will have a denser gauge.

2. Check the Stretch
Gently pull or stretch the sweater to see if it snaps back into place quickly. If the sweater lags or doesn’t go back into shape quickly then it is poor quality.
3. Check the Label
The label will tell you where the garment was made. Quality cashmere sweaters, scarves and shawls are made in Italy or Scotland.
If the label says it is made in China or even the US then you are probably holding an inferior product.
