We all have different ways of connecting with others. It is normal for human beings to want to connect with other people, it’s what we do best.
It might be chatting to fellow travelers on the bus to work or getting together with friends for a coffee at lunchtime.
Many of us look forward to connecting with people online we have never met in person, it’s just a fact of modern life.
But, can you imagine what it must have been like for the 20 million plus Polyvore users to have those connections destroyed overnight?

Where Can ex-Polyvore Users Reconnect with the Polyvore Community Online?
Well, that is exactly what happened when Canadian company, Ssense bought Polyvore and shut it down without warning.
Daze Digital reported that many people who used Polyvore were escaping from a harsh reality of life. For its users, Polyvore was a safe harbor.
“Polyvore was a place we could express ourselves, whoever we were,” says Anita Nikolic, who lives in Serbia Daze Digital reported.
When the giant platform disappeared overnight these people had nowhere to go, and it may have seemed at first no one to turn to.
